I wrote this song for Annie and Jack Jury who were neighbors of mine growing up in Penetanguishene Ontario Canada.
They immigrated to Canada from England in the early ’30’s and I met them in 1957 when I was born and Annie became my life long friend. I wanted to write my version of their meeting and falling in love in 1922.
