Reminiscent of us fisher-folk out here on Cape cod. A fun sort of play on words–metaphorically describes the guy who will go for anyone anytime, and the women who allow it. Also an optimistic note that you CAN rely on yourself, rahter than “settle” for any port (in a storm.)
