a song written for a deceased family friend is also a comment on the current state of political and personal affairs in the united states today…should our worries, cares and obsessions retract into “a conversation or a soundbite” and can we as a people realize that we are all – in the eastern sentiment – wasting away day by day…wouldn’t it be nice to open up a dialogue and share in it together instead of tearing ourselves and each other apart at the seams?
