In the Hollow of Your Hand
I submitted this song to you several years ago, before you offered a “Christian” genre. The reviewer faulted me for “limiting” the song to a Christian context (oh well). This was written during a low point in life. We can all feel, at times, that we’re not able to meet the challenges at hand (“…wasn’t man enough today.”). During this period of life, I found that the only place of true solace I found was in the presence of the Lord. I rested in the hollow of His hand. The song is intended to convey a deep sense of soothing and peace – the “peace that passes all understanding,” which we can only find in the presence of our Heavenly Father.
