See Past Me
by Phil Swanson
“See Past Me” begins with such a wonderful guitar riff with that harmonica falling strategically into position to deliver that layered sound effect. Our main character is a traveling musician who is getting over a past relationship that seems to linger on his mind. He blames himself for what seems to be a long line of broken relationships. He’s trying to learn to see past himself. Pretty melancholy feel that is delivered over a rather bouyant acoustic guitar groove.
